  • Overview

    We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with broad experience in the design of residential and commercial HVAC systems.     Responsibilities

    In this position you will apply your technical knowledge to design HVAC systems for new and existing buildings, assist our clients in extending the life cycle of their MEP systems by establishing maintenance and operations procedures, and complete due diligence assessments of existing HVAC systems. This position also supports our client’s commissioning and retro-commissioning efforts. You must be able to manage several projects simultaneously and be detail orientated. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential. Report writing skills are essential.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors or higher degree Mechanical Engineering.
    • Professional Engineering, P.E., license by testing with ability to become licensed in additional states.
    • Minimum of eight years of relevant experience.
    • Valid driver’s license is a must.
    • Must be outgoing and able to interact with staff, clients, and home/business owners.
    • You must possess excellent verbal, communication skills and technical writing abilities.
    • You must always respect your clients and co-workers.
    • AutoCAD experience is required.
    • Occasional overnight travel out of state is required.
    • Physical ability to perform all of the following functions is required: Climb ladders, walk on roofs, enter and work in confined spaces, Work outdoors in hot or cold weather. Lift up to 50 pounds. Use necessary safety equipment.
    • Perform duties that may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, or squatting for prolonged periods of time.
