    Looking for a Project Architect to manage small and medium architectural/facility design projects for our property owner, developer, and contractor clients.     We are a full service design and consulting firm with a specific emphasis on property condition assessments and restoration design of commercial and residential buildings.

     

    Responsibilities

    About the Day to Day

     

    You will have full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple small size to mid-size restoration design projects through their entire life cycle. This will involve:

    • Managing multiple projects, coordinating all aspects of the work and estimating the scope of work for multi-discipline projects (structural, MEP, architectural, and civil).
    • Developing overall strategic plans for project success and completion.
    • Coordinating administrative and technical personnel to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution.
    • Acting as the primary client liaison – interacting with them to develop schedules, budgets and SOW and actively managing them to client satisfaction with the finished product.
    • Managing project communications and documentation, office administrative tasks and project team assignments.
    • Estimating fees from determined scope of work (with the assistance of peers from the engineering disciplines).
    • Preparing proposals and contracts.
    • Hands on design functions related to life safety, ADA, and other architectural related items.
    • Enhancement of existing CAD standards.

    Qualifications

    What You Will Need

    • 8+ years architectural design and project management experience.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
    • Extensive CAD and BIM skills.
    • Organizational skills in order to keep track of multiple projects at one time.
    • Registered Architect not required, but preferred.
